Since 1978 the Messianic Hebrew Christian Fellowship (MHCF) has shared Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) with the Jewish Community of Central Pennsylvania. We believe that the Jewish Torah (Scriptures) promises a Messiah for all the people of the world, both Jew and Gentile. Yeshua was born as the fulfillment of those Bible promises. Only through faith in Him is there a way back to God. No Synagogue, Church or Temple can provide forgiveness of sin, only through the atonement made by Yeshua can we experience true peace with God.

MHCF was founded by Messianic Rabbi Milton Maiman and his wife Lura in Harrisburg, PA. He had an effective work both in the USA and Israel and was greatly used by God until his home going in 1999. He is fondly remembered by all who were touched by his ministry.

Over the years many individuals, both Jewish and Gentile, have come to faith in Messiah through the ministry of MHCF. Three Messianic Congregations were also begun as a result of these ministries, including
SEED OF ABRAHAM MESSIANIC CONGREGATION in Lancaster County, PA.

Today, MHCF is headed up by Lloyd Elias Scalyer, a Jewish believer in Messiah who was ordained to the ministry in April 1980 and who worked with Milt Maiman for years. Now centered in Lancaster County, and forty years since it's founding, the ministry of MHCF continues to serve the areas of Harrisburg, York, Reading, Lititz, Hershey as well as Lancaster through literature distribution, outreach ministries, Bible Study, Passover Seders and the discipling of believers. We work co-operatively with Seed of Abraham Messianic Congregation. Their worship services and Bible teaching are held on Saturday mornings in Leola, PA.
